Republic of Ambazonia Official Website

The United Nations & Southern Cameroon

We have noticed that even people posting their PhDs on the web do not read with understanding, so I advise Mr. Anderson Ebai and SCian activists to read this with understanding so as to know their rights and how to defend them.

Since the 16th century Portuguese maps indicated our Bay as Ambas, Geography automatically identifies our country as Ambazonia; meaning the zone of Ambas Bay. So Ambazonia is not an invention of the Spear Head of our Liberation struggle. Ambazonia is geographical expression of which identifies our country with exactitude.

Please note that Cameroon means Crayfish and only a person suffering from a slave mentality would prefer to call himself Crayfish just because the slave master calls him Crayfish.

Just as the description British Southern Cameroons refers to the geographical south of British Cameroons, so does the description Southern Cameroon refer to the geographical south of the country known in the world as Cameroon
If you are still not convinced, then take a look at these two articles by the international media about Southern Cameroon: http://www.voanews.com/english/news/africa/Butty-Cameroon-Southern-Independence-Litumbe-31august10-101856818.html & http://www.news.com.au/southern-cameroon-residents-heard-explosions-in-the-air-officials/story-e6frg9df-1225882111593?from=public_rss

We read daily how the SCians instead of joining us in accusing Cameroon of aggression, they prefer to hold the UN responsible for our plight in Cameroon when it is the same United Nations that created the United Nations Trust territory of British Cameroons; and so gave us the description British Southern Cameroons.  It is the same United Nations that now calls us by our geographical identity Ambazonia. Please read the following paragraph with understanding:

As a result of the “subjugation” of Ambazonians, whose human rights were allegedly severely violated by members of the Franco-Cameroon armed forces as well as militia groups, riots broke out in 1983, prompting Parliament to enact the Restoration law 84/01, which dissolved the union of the two countries. The author became Head of the “Ambazonian Restoration Council” and published several articles, which called on President Paul Biya of the Republic of Cameroon to comply with the law and to withdraw from Ambazonia. (UNHRC Decision CCPR/C/83/D/1134/2002 para 2.5)

Can you now see the folly in still calling yourself an Anglophone Cameroonian slave instead calling yourself a proud Ambazonian?

Thank God that many Ambazonian compatriots now understand that if the demonstrations they like to indulge in were to read: Get Cameroon out Of Ambazonia Enforce Law 84/01 on Biya, many Heads of Diplomatic Missions would respond positively.

But as long as your placards read: Get Cameroon out of Southern Cameroon, these same Heads of Diplomatic Missions would recommend a medical doctor to have your heads examined.
