Paul Biya Hands off Ambazonia; Paul Biya Obey The Law

On the 50th anniversary of Cameroon Aggression

BIYA HANDS OFF AMBAZONIA; BIYA OBEY THE LAW

During the 50th anniversary celebration of Cameroon independence on 20 May 2010, the United Nations reminded all UN Member States that in international law the country called CAMEROON is the former UN Trust Territory of French Cameroun. The President of the UN General Assembly dramatized this by presenting President Paul Biya with a framed map of French Cameroun (as is seen in figure 1 below) as the map of Cameroon.

This was  to remind Cameroon President Paul Biya to withdraw from Ambazonia peacefully in compliance with the following UN public Acts :-

[A] March 2005 the United Nations  Human Rights Committee ruled as follows:

  1. that Ambazonia is a sovereign nation occupied by Cameroon. Paragraph 2.5 reads: As a result of the subjugation of Ambazonians, whose  human rights were allegedly severely violated by members of the Franco-Cameroon armed force as well as militia groups, riots broke out in 1983, prompting Parliament to enact Restoration law 84/01, which dissolved the Union  of the two countries.

  2. that the persecution and exile of the Ambazonian leader Fon Gorji-Dinka stems from the CAMEROON  OCCUPATION OF AMBAZONIA and ORDERED Cameroon to remedy the situation. (i.e., Cameroon must withdraw from Ambazonia)

  3. that the Cameroon High Court judgment HCB/28/92 provided the best attempt at domestic remedy. But that it failed only because Paul Biya does not respect judgments on human rights.

The said HCB/28/92 ruled that Cameroon occupation of Ambazonia is an act of Aggression and ordered all elements of Cameroon authority to be withdrawn from Ambazonia. (case of the exiled Ambazonian Leader Gorji-Dinka-v Cameroon UNHRC CCPR/1134/2002)

[B] This was to remind the world that in January 2005 UN Secretary General Kofi Annan flew to Cameroon and got President Biya to sign a commitment (herein referred to as the Annan Bakassi Peace Accord) to withdraw from Ambazonia. It reads “I President Biya of the Republic of Cameroon, in a bid to provide lasting peace to the Bakassi conflict hereby commit myself and government to respect the territorial boundaries of my country as obtained at independence."

This is a self incriminating confession by Cameroon President that the Bakassi Conflict was a result of Cameroon occupation of Ambazonia.

UN says Cameroon occupation of Ambazonia threatens international peace and security. UN Charter article 51 entitles Ambazonia with the assistance of willing nations or NGOs or Mercenaries to use force to flush Cameroon out of Ambazonia.
