Dear Mr. Patrick Kilchenmann,

In accordance with procedures for contacting the Republic of Ambazonia, I have declined to process your invitation through the cabinet of the Leadership of the Republic of Ambazonia for a formal acceptance of your invitation for the Republic of Ambazonia to participate in a meeting on the perspective of finding a negotiated solution within the context of the internal affairs of Cameroon based on the following.

Your invitation addressed in a letter to the attention of HRH Fon Fongum Gorji-Dinka on “the perspective of finding a negotiated solution within the context of the Anglophone regions in Cameroon” refers to the internal affairs of Cameroon, which the Republic of Ambazonia (the Former United Nations Trust Territory of Southern British Cameroon) is not part of.

Your letter of invitation did not provide the Leadership of the Republic of Ambazonia with substantial information about who gave you the mandate to organize such a meeting neither did it provide detail information about the agenda, objective of the meeting, the parties invited to the meeting, and the venue of the meeting as requested in a phone conversation on the 18th June 2019 between you and myself.

The Republic of Ambazonia welcomes and will get into dialogue with the Republic of Cameroon at any agreed venue, time with recognized and credible facilitators in accordance with preconditions for dialogue and procedures for contacting the government of Republic of Ambazonia.

However, based on your promise that relevant requested information will be formally provided in a face to face meeting, I will be meeting you on a personal note for a Fact Finding Mission to obtain the detail information requested above to present to the cabinet of the Republic of Ambazonia for further consideration.
